Join the Pathfinders--the Friends of the Museum’s membership group for young professionals--and go Where the Wild Things Are! Enjoy bluegrass, barbecue, beverages, and “beasties” at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Thursday, October 10, 2002, from 7 to 10 p.m. The Museum is located on Bicentennial Plaza, between Jones and Edenton Streets, in downtown Raleigh.

Chow down on home-cooked barbecue from Larry’s Catering. Clog the night away to bluegrass music by Chatham County’s own, The Bluegrass Experience. Enjoy frothy microbrews from Greenshields Brewery & Pub. Meet live critters at animal presentations by Museum educators. Holler with the best and the loudest at the “Wild Thing” calling contest.

Tickets are $5 for Pathfinders members, and $10 for non-members. Admission includes music, food, and non-alcoholic beverages. Microbrews available for $2 each. For tickets, contact 919/733-7450, ext. 303.

The event is for adults age 21 and older. Event sponsors include Greenshields Brewery & Pub, Highwood Properties and Cranfill, Sumner and Hartzog, LLP.
