The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences enhances understanding and appreciation of the world’s natural environment, emphasizing biodiversity in North Carolina and the southeastern United States. The Museum offers college internships for academic credit in administration, education (public and school programs), exhibits, public relations/communications, and research and collections. Interns can apply and supplement their classroom knowledge, obtain valuable job experience and establish professional contacts. For an academic credit internship, successful applicants will work a flexible number of hours per week during the semester. Credit will be determined by applicant’s advisor/university for number of hours worked during the semester. (For example, 120 hours equals three semester credit hours.) INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS
