Day 2005 Watch

Media, 3MB) or the Sir Walter Wally and Friends of the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences invite you to participate in the annual statewide celebration of Groundhog Day. On February 2, 2005, students from across the state reported their weather watch predictions to the Museum via the Web. At the Museum, members of the North Carolina State Climate Office compiled the predictions and, with assistance from the University of North Carolina Department of Geography, created the statewide Weather Watch map below.
