What is the most unusual animal you encountered while snorkeling? Linda from Lincoln County

The most unusual animal we encountered while snorkeling were Upsidedown Jellyfish. These organisms were found in the mangrove swamps of Twin Caye. These jellyfish could sting so we had to watch out for them, but their tentacles only extend about two inches from their bodies.
